Glow Skills

There are a variety of glow LED light skills performed by our glow acts. All glow acts perform more than one skill but not all LED light performers use the same skill set in their acts. If you require a specific glow skill to be performed at your event please let us know so the suitable act can be booked for you.

Shown below are descriptions of all the glow LED light skills to enable you to understand the differences between them and which are most suitable for different types of events and venues.

Glow Spinning or Twirling

Glow spinning, swinging or twirling, unlike most other fire skills can be performed using different fire props

All the following props are used for glow spinning creating circular or arc LED light effects

  • Fire poi (a 'ball' attached to a flexible handle by a wire or chain
  • Fire staff (a long 'stick' with fire wick at each end
  • Fire Swinging Torches (a specialised fire torch similar to a fire juggling torch
  • Each glow spinning prop has unique moves and different styles of performance. However they all share the general fire effect where 'circles or arcs' of fire are created during the movement of the props

Many glow acts include at least one of these props making glow spinning one of the most common and also most popular form of glow performance

Able to be performed in most locations with adequate space, glow spinning creates highly visual LED light trails

Glow Juggling

Glow Juggling includes a number of skills that come under the term 'Juggling'

Glow juggling props include:

  • Glow juggling clubs - by far the most common glow juggling prop
  • Glow juggling balls
  • Glow diabolo
  • Glow juggling (especially with clubs or balls) can be performed in a more restricted space or venue than most other glow skills.

It can be performed as part of a glow show or as part of a freestyle performance

Glow Hula Hooping

Glow Hula Hooping is a unique glow skill in that the prop comes into contact with most parts of the performer's body. The glow hula hoop is spun around the waist, arms, legs, hands or neck

Glow hula hooping is an impressive skill and requires a similar space or venue as glow juggling with clubs

It can be performed as part of a glow show or as part of a freestyle performance

LED Light Suits

Many glow performers wear a costume that has been designed to incorporate LED lights and light effects

Please note that not all acts wear such costumes. If you require this as part of the performance please specify this

Laser Effects

Some glow acts provide laser light show effects to compliment their glow show act

If you require this effect please specify this at the time of enquiry

Due to the very limited number of acts that provide these laser effects may not be available

Logo, Text & Pattern Effects

Some glow LED light props can be programmed to change colour or create effects in the air when being spun

Effects that can be created include patterns, text or even company or organisation logos

These amazing effects are can add a unique visual spectacle for your event

Please note that these performances and effects usually cost more than other glow performances
